The maiden voyage

Here it is. I've finally created a blog. Most will say it's about time, I say the timing is just right especially as I find myself at an interesting cross roads. Not only am I about to embark on my final semester as an undergrad, but come April, graduation won't be the only change on the horizon. I am in my sixth month of pregnancy and right after my last semester finishes up Freddie and I will become parents and I will become a stay at home mom. This impending, massive life shift has me reeling as I go back and forth between nearly uncontainable excitement and inconsolable dread. It only seemed natural that I create a blog so that I too can share in the blog-o-sphere my adventures in domesticity as I leave the familiar world of the work force and safety of academia for what I've truly always wanted and now am dreading to get. The noble, rewarding, crazy life of a domestic, more appropriately titled Mother.
